Do you suffer from constipation or IBS symptoms, or just find it difficult to get enough fibre into your diet? If so, the Irish product SylliFlor may be worth a closer look.

Developed by Róisín from RoCa Healthcare, SylliFlor is a high-fibre supplement made from psyllium husks and designed to support bowel regularity and overall gut function. Unlike traditional psyllium products, which some people find difficult to take, SylliFlor has a unique texture and comes in a range of flavours, making it a more enjoyable and convenient way to increase your fibre intake.

Why Fibre Matters More Than Most of Us Realise

Most of us know fibre is important, but many people still don't get nearly enough of it in their daily diet. Fibre plays a key role in digestive health, helping to keep things moving through the bowel while also supporting the beneficial bacteria that live in our gut.

A lack of fibre can contribute to constipation, irregular bowel movements, and digestive discomfort. Increasing fibre intake is often one of the first recommendations for people looking to improve their digestive health.

What Makes SylliFlor Different?

Psyllium husks have long been used as a source of soluble fibre, but not everyone enjoys the texture of plain psyllium husks. SylliFlor uses a specially developed format that many people find more palatable and easier to consume.

Available in several flavours, it offers a practical way to increase daily fibre intake without the thick, gel-like consistency often associated with traditional psyllium supplements.

Who Might Benefit from SylliFlor?

People use SylliFlor for a variety of reasons, including:

  • As part of the dietary management of constipation or loose stools
  • For Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), including both constipation-predominant and diarrhoea-predominant types
  • To help soften stools in cases such as haemorrhoids, anal fissures, or following surgery
  • During pregnancy, particularly when iron supplements may contribute to constipation
  • As a concentrated source of soluble fibre for people who struggle to meet their daily fibre requirements
  • As a useful source of fibre for people following a gluten-free diet, including those with coeliac disease
  • As a satiety aid, helping to create a feeling of fullness when taken before meals

SylliFlor for Constipation, IBS and Gut Health

Beyond supporting regular bowel movements, SylliFlor offers additional benefits associated with soluble fibre.

Psyllium acts as a prebiotic, helping to nourish beneficial gut bacteria and support a healthy gut microbiome. It may also help maintain normal cholesterol levels when used as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.*

For many people living with IBS, finding a fibre supplement that is both effective and comfortable to take can be a challenge. SylliFlor has become a popular option because it can be used by people experiencing either constipation or loose stools.

At Organico, we stock both Cocoa and Vanilla flavours, and we also have it in a multi-flavour box of convenient sachets.

The SylliFlor Calcium Difference

Alongside the standard SylliFlor products, we also have SylliFlor Calcium, which is specifically designed for people experiencing chronic diarrhoea rather than constipation. We currently stock the convenient sachet format, making it easy to use at home or on the go.
