How much is shipping?

Shipping is free for orders over €100 

Otherwise, it’s a fixed flat rate of €4.95 for up to 20kg of shopping. This just about covers what we pay An Post for each shipping label.

What it doesn't cover is the cost of handpicking and carefully packing your order. We absorb those costs so we can keep the shipping charge as low as possible for you.

* All Our shipping is subject to fair use limits. We are subsidising your shipping, so if your order is over 20kg and has to be split over a number of delivery boxes we may contact you for supplimentary fee.

Do you ship to where I live?

As long as you live in Ireland, we can get an order to you. We ship to all 32 Irish counties. We do not ship outside of Ireland. 

When will my order be shipped?

We aim to ship orders as soon as possible, often the same or the next working day. 

During particularly busy times, next day shipping may not be possible. But if we expect your order to take an unusually long time, you'll hear from us.

The other thing to note is that very heavy orders - such as bulk and multi-buy orders - take a little extra time to pick, pack and ship.

In all cases, you'll receive a notification when your order has shipped.

What will my order be packed in?

Mostly cardboard! We keep plastic to an absolute MINIMUM. We shred cardboard boxes for padding for your orders, to protect them during transit. We NEVER buy plastic packaging, so anything yo recieve is re-used. Our goal is to be as low waste as possible, while also ensuring your order arrives safe and sound (i.e., no spills or breakages). 

When will my order arrive?

An Post aim to deliver the following day after they pick up from us. 

However, we do know that this isn't always possible, especially not at peak times such as Pre-Christmas. So please allow 2-3 working days for delivery. 

Is next day delivery an option?

We don't have a guaranteed next day delivery option. However, occasionally people get in touch when they're in urgent need of an order.

For instance, when a person is sick and needs a natural remedy as quick as possible. Or when a baby is due to be born and nappies are required.

In these instances, we do all we can to rush an order out the door!

Which shipping service do you use?

Your order will arrive via An Post Priority Delivery Service, which for much of the country means the parcels come with your normal Post Person. You will receive notifications from An Post once they have your order and you can contact them to arrange a suitable time/place for delivery should you need to. 

How do I track my order?

You can use your ORDER NUMBER to track your order on An Post Track and Trace 

You can also use the CE or CA Number you will be sent when we ship your order.

Please note that shipping details wil not be avaiable till your package enters the An Post system which is a few hours after we send you the shipping email. 

Can I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel an order and you have yet to receive a shipping notification, email us at [email protected] for help.

But do keep in mind we're unable to cancel an order after it's shipped.

I forgot to order something. Can I add on to an order I've already placed?

If you’ve yet to receive a shipping notification for your order, it may be possible to place a second order but have the two orders shipped as one.

Here’s what you’ll need to do straight away…

  1. Place a second order that contains the additions you want to make.
  2. Email us immediately after ([email protected]) with the order numbers of your first and second orders to let us know you wish to combine them.

We’ll do our best to add your second order to your first. If this is possible, you’ll receive a refund for the second shipping charge.

Can I send an order as a gift to someone?

Absolutely. We love doing this!

If you want to send some treats to a friend, all you have to do is put their name and address in the Shipping Address field. We’ll ship the order straight to them.

But if you want to send an extra special gift, add this item to your order.

We’ll gift pack the order, which means we’ll:

  • present the gift in the perfect box finished with tissue paper on top.
  • include a handwritten note to let the recipient know who the gift is from - or you can email us a personal message to include ([email protected]).

Why is a product I was able to order actually out of stock?

If you’re wondering specifically about bulk bags and multi-buy products, we’ve covered those details in the next question.

Otherwise...

The stock you see online is also available on our shop floor. We don't have a warehouse - we are picking from our shop shelves here in Bantry! So occasionally, a product sells out locally before an online order has been processed.

We recieve orders every day from our suppliers and products are quick to come back in stock. So we can hang on to your order until the missing item arrives.

If that doesn't suit, we can deduct the out of stock product from your invoice and ship the order as is.

Why do bulk and multi-buy products take longer to ship?

If you’ve ordered 5kg bulk bags or 6+ of a single item, your order will take a little longer to ship. This does depend on a number of factors and can be 1-2 days or up to 5 working days.

Our shop in West Cork just doesn’t have enough space for us to keep enough bulk bags or large amunts of stock at all times. So to get these products to you, we may have to order from our suppliers before filling your order.

We also have a limit of 20 kg per order, which is An Post’s weight restriction. Most orders fall under this limit. But worth keeping in mind if you plan to order a lot of bulk products.

 

Which days do you ship orders?

Our Online Team works Monday - Thursday incluseive, so Thursday is the last shipping day in the week.  

 

What if I want to Click & Collect? 

If you live locally and would prefer to collect your order, that’s no problem at all. Simply place your order online between Monday and Thursday, then email us to let us know you’d like to collect it.

We’ll pick your order and contact you as soon as it’s ready.

In most cases, next-day collection works perfectly. If you need same-day collection, please give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
