Psyllium Husks Calcium 30 x 6g
SylliFlor® Calcium is a convenient dietary fibre supplement made with psyllium husks from the Psyllium plant (Plantago ovata) and enriched with added calcium. Designed to support digestive wellbeing, it is particularly suitable for people experiencing regular or chronic diarrhoea while also helping to maintain healthy digestion and bowel regularity.
What makes SylliFlor® unique is its patented coating technology, where the psyllium husks are coated with coconut oil and resistant starch to create a crisp, non-sticky texture. This innovative formulation delays immediate swelling when mixed with liquids, making it more enjoyable and versatile to use compared to traditional psyllium products.
The easy-to-use granules can be sprinkled over yoghurt, added to smoothies or porridge, stirred into sauces, used in baking, or taken directly from a spoon followed by water. Alongside a healthy diet and active lifestyle, psyllium husks may help support digestive health, bowel regularity, cholesterol management, and general wellbeing.
This gluten-free formula is also suitable for people following low-carb diets or those with coeliac disease.
Directions
- Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10g (2 rounded teaspoons) 1–2 times daily.
- Always consume with 1–2 glasses of liquid (200–400ml).
- Start with half the recommended amount and increase gradually.
- Can be added to smoothies, yoghurt, porridge, sauces, baking, or taken directly from a spoon followed by water.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day when using psyllium husks.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
- Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry, dark place and keep out of reach of young children.
- An increased intake of dietary fibre may cause temporary gastrointestinal discomfort which usually improves with regular use.
