An Instant Classic

Life-changing bread took the internet by storm a few years ago when Sarah Britton of My New Roots published the recipe on her blog. You can follow Sarah’s recipe to the T and create a loaf that is...well...life-changing. But, as she says in her post, the recipe is flexible and you can play around with swapping out ingredients as long as you end up with the same proportion of dry ingredients to wet.

Organico-Style

Rachel put her own spin on the recipe and created an Organico-version of Life-Changing Bread by omitting the nuts and sweetener and adding sesame seeds. The extra seeds bring an even nuttier flavour, and losing the maple syrup makes the bread appropriate for those of you following low-to-no-sugar diets.

This 100% plant-based bread really is a miracle, especially if you’ve eliminated wheat and/or yeast breads from your diet. But even if you haven’t, we’ve yet to meet anyone who doesn’t fall head over heels for its toasty, nutty flavour and satisfying texture.

Serving Life-Changing Bread

The bread will last at least five days in a sealed container, or months in the freezer (just be sure to slice before freezing). And it toasts beautifully.
