Organico BASICS is our new category for the ‘everyday’ products that see a family through month after month.    

All kudos for the concept goes to our team member, Russell. 

There was a time when he wanted to save as much money on groceries as possible. But he didn’t want to convert to a ‘cheap diet’ of ultra-processed foods in packets… which, you’ve probably noticed, is mainly what mainstream supermarkets offer in their budget range.

Is the savings ever worth eating excessive amounts of refined oil, sugar, and salt? Russell didn’t think so. 

He saw the value in being able to quickly spot the high quality, affordable, wholesome foods in a health food shop, ensuring that his budget was stretching as far as possible.  

So he encouraged us to come up with a way to highlight the ‘basic’ products that offer best value for money in Organico. 

And that’s how Organico BASICS was born.

There’s a perception that healthy and sustainable shopping costs major €€€. Organico BASICS disproves that.

In some cases, we’ve bought in bulk so we can offer you the lowest price possible. In others, we’ve scrutinised multiple brands until we’ve found the one where quality and affordability align.
