Island photographer Robbie Murphy brings Sherkin to Organico

We're so lucky to have a new exhibition of these fabulous photos of Sherkin by island fisherman Robbie Murphy. They are all beautifully framed and not at all expensive, so any of them would make a fantastic Christmas present!

Robbie Murphy has lived on Sherkin Island, West Cork, since he moved there with his family shortly after he was born. As well as working on the island farming oysters he photographs it, and it is fair to say that Robbie really knows his subject and captures his stunning images with an unerring eye. To view these large prints is to be transported to Sherkin, to feel the weather, hear the waves pounding and to experience the beauty of the land and sea in the gorgeous island light.

This exhibition will be in the café  from September 26th until November 19th. Please come to the opening party on October 8^th at 4pm to see the beautiful work and support this very talented and inspiring local photographer.
