Organic Malafemmena Umbria I.G.T. Grechetto Frizzante 2024 750ml
This organic sparkling white wine from Umbria is crafted exclusively from Grechetto grapes grown on hilly, clay-limestone soils. Fermented at a controlled temperature of 18°C and re-fermented in spring using fresh must and spontaneous yeasts, it showcases a natural and artisanal winemaking approach.
Straw yellow in colour, the wine reveals a distinctive bouquet of bread crust, a result of the yeast, along with aromas of yellow fruits and subtle spices. On the palate, it is dry, fresh, and fruity with a pleasing mineral edge. With its vibrant character and refined structure, it pairs beautifully with fish, white meats, cheeses, and cured meats.
