Organic Syrah 750ml
Bogarve 1915 Organic Syrah is crafted from 100% Syrah grapes grown across 46.45 hectares of carefully managed vineyards. The combination of climate, soil and precise vineyard management ensures optimal ripeness and quality. Harvesting takes place at night to preserve freshness, and the timing is determined by grape tasting, seed ripeness, and analytical controls.
Fermentation is guided by daily tasting and strict temperature control to achieve the ideal balance of colour, tannin, and aromatic expression. The result is a wine that showcases a vibrant cherry red hue with purple reflections and medium-high intensity. Aromas include roasted and balsamic notes, liquorice, red fruits such as strawberry, and floral hints, which carry through to a rich mouthfeel and a lingering finish.
Malolactic fermentation and lees stirring (batonage) are performed to enhance the wine’s elegance and texture. This Syrah pairs beautifully with meats and stews and is best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 10º–15ºC. The wine contains 14% alcohol by volume.
