There's no mistaking the broad-shouldered impact of this big Cariñena red. From the first sniff its indulgent, plump red and dark fruit character roars out of the glass, fuelled by a potent fifteen per cent alcohol.
There's no oak involved in the vinification of this hot-headed youngster, so the flavours are purely those of the ripe organic Garnacha and Syrah: spicy here, savoury there, but chiefly driven by cherry, currant and plum in an assertive and energetic glassful.
