Chocolate Sour Cherry and Nibs 170g

Mella McAuley makes her stunningly delicious butter fudge, using local Bandon butter. She began making fudge for a local sweet shop in Bantry when she was in school and eventually decided to set up her own business.

Initially she started a stall in Bantry’s Friday Market, and sold to local delis. Gradually her kitchen enterprise grew in scale and now she works from her own kitchen unit in Lisavaird Co-op, outside Clonakilty, West Cork.

Ingredients

Sugar, Sweetened Condensed Milk (Milk, Sugar), Butter (Milk) (15%), Water, Sour Cherries (6%), Golden Syrup (Partially Inverted Sugar Syrup), Glucose Syrup, Cocoa Powder (5%), Cocoa Nibs (1.5%), Freeze Dried Sour Cherries (1.5%).
