Directions
- Wash hands and remove the wrapper from the tampon.
- Hold the applicator with the base between the thumb and index finger, ensuring the string hangs outside the applicator.
- With the other hand, gently open the vaginal opening and insert the rounded tip of the applicator at a backward angle.
- Slide the outer tube completely into the vagina, then push the inner tube until it is inside the first tube, releasing the tampon.
- Remove both applicator tubes and dispose of them in the bin. The string should remain visible outside the body.
- If the tampon feels uncomfortable, remove and insert a new one more deeply.
- Change the tampon every 4–8 hours. To remove, pull the string gently in the direction of insertion, wrap the tampon in toilet paper, and dispose of it in the bin.
- Always use the lowest absorbency needed and ensure the previous tampon is removed before inserting another.
- Do not use tampons before or between periods.
