Manuka honey is native to New Zealand. Traditionally the honey was used to treat cuts, sores and even burns.

Many studies have been published on Manuka and all show antimicrobial, anti-fungal and wound healing properties due to a component called β-triketones. Some studies showed that manuka oil inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes , the bacteria that are involved in acne. (at less than 1.5% concentration. 

This Manuka oil is sourced from New Zealand and has a content of over 20% MBTK.

What does it do?

Manuka oil in Squalane can be used anywhere on the face or body.

In addition to Manuka, this formulation has Bakuchiol, which apart from anti-aging benefits has shown good antibacterial and excellent fungicide activity. Finally, we used Astaxanthin, the most powerful antioxidant in cosmetics, for a synergistic effect. Astaxanthin is found in salmon (wild ones),  flamingos etc. It is reputed to be 6000 times more powerful than vitamin C.

Directions

Apply 3 to 4 drops to clean, dry skin. Gently massage into face and neck using circular motions. Then, follow with your moisturizer. For optimal results, we recommend using this product consistently for at least four weeks.
