This organic extra virgin olive oil has been cold pressed from Greek Koutsourelia or Lianoelia Olives. It is gently cold pressed under 50c which helps to retain all the precious minerals and nutrients such as healthy fats and antioxidants. Cold pressed olive oil contains higher levels of Oleic acid which are healthy monosaturated fats. Oleic acid helps to retain the quality of the oil for longer.
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a smooth, gentle but spicy taste. High levels of vitamins and healthy fats make it great for frying, roasting, baking, sautéing and using straight from the bottle as a salad dressing or bread dip.
In order to produce this healthiest form of oil, the olives are washed and then ground in stone mills forming a paste. The paste is then pressed to extract the oil. This oil comes from the first press which results in an exceptionally high quality olive oil.
