Pandan Jasmine rice comes from the Preah Vihear region in the north of Cambodia, where mainly women in cooperatives grow Jasmine rice. In addition to rice, they also grow cassava, cashew nuts and soybeans. This rice is transported from the north of Cambodia to be husked and processed in Batambang. The white long grain of white pandan rice has been cut and polished. That is why the taste is somewhat milder but retains its soft, full taste. For that reason it can be combined well with spicy dishes.
Use about 75 g per person. Add 1.75 times the amount of water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 40 minutes.
