Join the Organico team
Organico is a family-run business in the heart of Bantry, West Cork. We’ve been here since 1992, growing from a small health food shop into a busy shop, café, bakery, deli and online business.
We’re a team of people who care about good food, health, our customers and the place we live. We’re always interested in hearing from people who think they might be a good fit for Organico.
What’s it like to work here?
There’s never really a quiet day at Organico. We have customers to look after, deliveries to unpack, bread to bake, coffees to make, orders to pick and shelves to keep looking good. There’s a lot going on, and that’s part of what makes it interesting.
We work across a number of different areas, including:

You don’t necessarily need to have worked in health food before. A genuine interest in food, health and wellbeing, a willingness to learn and a good attitude are often more important.
We’re looking for good people
We like people who are friendly, reliable and interested in doing a good job.
You’ll need to be comfortable working as part of a team, but also able to get on with things yourself. Our work can be busy and sometimes unpredictable, so being adaptable is important too.
We also want people who are interested in learning. Our team has a huge amount of knowledge between them, and we’re keen to share it. We provide training and opportunities to develop your skills and take on more responsibility as you grow with us.
A family business with room to grow
Organico has changed a lot since we opened, but some things haven't changed. We’re still family-run, we still know many of our customers by name and we still care deeply about the service we offer and the products we put on our shelves.
We’re also ambitious. We’re constantly looking at how we can improve the business, develop our team and do things better.
That means there are opportunities to learn and progress, whether you’re looking for your first job, a part-time role alongside other commitments or a longer-term career.
