Organic Reduced Salt Japanese Miso 270g

This organic reduced salt Japanese miso offers a mild, umami-rich flavor and is made with unpasteurised rice miso. It contains less salt than traditional brown rice miso, making it a lighter option without compromising on taste. Ideal for creating authentic miso soup, it can also be used to season and enrich stews, casseroles, sauces, and salad dressings.

As a live product, the miso may continue fermenting over time, which can cause the lid to bulge. This is a natural process and the miso remains safe to consume. Harmless white yeasts may also develop if exposed to air; simply skim these off before use.


Directions

  • Dissolve in a little water before adding to dishes.
  • Add towards the end of cooking for best flavor.
  • Use in miso soup, or as a seasoning for stews, casseroles, sauces, and salad dressings.
