Directions

• Fill the Neti pot with lukewarm water and natural sea salt or rock salt. The salt should be fine-grained and iodine-free. A good starting point is half a teaspoon of salt in 250 ml of water.
• Mix well so the salt is evenly distributed and the solution does not burn in the nose. Adjust the salt level if needed.
• Tilt your head forward and slightly to the side over a sink, keeping the nostril that feels more open on top.
• With your mouth open, place the spout slightly in the upper nostril and raise the pot until water flows out of the lower nostril. Breathe through your mouth, keeping it relaxed and open.
• Blow gently through both nostrils when the pot is empty, then repeat for the other side.
• Clean and dry the Neti pot thoroughly after each use to avoid build-up of germs or bacteria.
