Eyes can become dry and irritated as a result of a number of factors in our modern world. Working long hours at a computer screen, heating, air-conditioning and pollution are all contributory factors.

Eyes become drier with age and use of contact lenses can irritate eyes.

Eyebright is a pretty little plant that takes its name from one of the three graces, Euphrosyne, although it was not until the Middle Ages that its beneficial effects were noted, coming to be known as Eyebright.

Alfred Vogel knew it as a wild plant which enjoys living in grassland, drawing nutrients from its companion plants. Collected in late summer, the aerial parts are used to create this remedy.

Directions

For oral use only.

Adults: 20 drops twice a day, in a little water.

Children: This product is not recommended for children.

Do not exceed stated recommended daily dose.

Avoid during pregnancy.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Tinctures of fresh Euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright) herb, extracted in alcohol (66% v/v).
