What does RRP mean?
RRP stands for Recommended Retail Price.
This is a reference price recommended by the manufacturer or supplier for a product.
Normally this is the benchmark for our selling price. It is not necessarily the price we previously charged or the price charged by other retailers. When we display an RRP alongside our selling price, it is to help you understand how our price compares with that recommendation and that there is value to be had on that product at this time.
Why are some of our prices lower than RRP? Sometimes we can purchase stock on particularly favourable terms. Rather than simply taking extra profit we want to pass this value on to you and offer these products below their recommended retail price. These lower prices may remain available for an extended period, depending on our purchasing arrangements and stock availability.
