Organic Wild Rice Wild rice is actually a semi-aquatic grass that historically has grown in lakes, tidal rivers and bays. There are several types of wild rice which are native to North America or Asia. Wild rice is slightly higher in protein than most other whole grains, and is a good source of fibre, magnesium, and vitamin B6. It makes a tasty and healthy addition to rice salads, pilafs and curries.

Cooking Instructions: Rinse and simmer in 3 parts water to 1 part rice for approx. 45 minutes.
