Organic Butter Beans Lima pods are believed to be originated in the tropical fertile valleys of Central America. Butter beans or baby lima beans, are flat, off-white, kidney-shaped edible seeds. They are a great source of protein, fibre and minerals. Butter beans are used in dishes such as soups, salads, stir-fries, stews, and casseroles. May contain stones or foreign matter. Cooking Instructions: Soak overnight, drain and cover with cold water. Simmer for approx. 1 hour.
