Organic Pinhead Oatmeal The modern oat draws its ancestry from the wild red oat, a plant originating in Asia. Oats gain part of their distinctive flavour from the roasting process that they go through after being harvested and cleaned. Oats are bursting with fibre and are a great source of many vitamins and minerals.
