DetailsOrganic Green Lentils (500g) The lentil is an edible pulse and is a bushy annual plant of the legume family. Green Lentils can be pale or mottled green-brown in color with a glossy exterior and have a robust, somewhat peppery flavour. They are high in both fibre and protein and can be used in soups, salads, stews and other dishes. May contain stones or foreign matter. Cooking Instructions: Rinse and simmer in 1 3/4 parts water to 1 part lentils for approx. 45 minutes.
