This July, we're hosting many lovely events in Organico and we'd love for you to join us. Taste: Durrus Cheese Friday, 6th July in Organico Shop 11AM-3PM Free Tasting

It’s not just us who think Durrus Cheese is fantastic - the company has plenty of awards to prove that others do too! When Jeffa Gill founded Durrus Cheese in 1979, she was part of a small group of women who revitalized farmhouse cheesemaking in Ireland and sparked the country’s (still strong) artisan cheese movement. She and her team continue to make Durrus Cheese by hand to this day, sourcing milk from cows that graze in pastures in West Cork. Come and taste their semi-soft, washed-rind cheese with its full and balanced flavours that show off the best of Irish cheesemaking.
