Little Comfort is an Irish company based in Donegal. Their nappies are very well designed, with one size fitting new-born up to toddler, and are made from bamboo which is very absorbent. They are a great fit, and close with poppers, not a pin in sight! Each nappy comes with 2 boosters that pop in which make them very easy to dry. I can say from experience that these nappies are easy to use, even my husband recommends them!
Why Use Real Nappies?
Real Nappies save the environment – in Ireland approximately 600,000 nappies are used every day and the environmental impact of this hardly bears thinking about. Disposable nappies take 100′s of years to break down, not to mention the environmental cost in producing and shipping them. So using Real Nappies is a very easy way to reduce you carbon footprint.
Real Nappies also save you money. Depending on when you begin using them, you save about 80% of the cost of disposables, because most people use them 80% of the time (some people use a disposable at night for example, or for long car journeys). You also save the cost of disposing of the disposables! It is estimated (conservatively) that you come out between €300 and €500 better off, and more if you use the same set of nappies for your next baby.
The Full Pack contains:
- 20 x One Size Bamboo Nappies
- 8 x Waterproof pants in several sizes (these range from newborn to large)
- 1 x Roll of 100 liners,
- 1 x Waterproof nappy bag
- 2 x Net laundry bags.
The nappy Cover come in the following sizes (you can specify which sizes you would like and how many of each you need):
New born: 5 – 11 Lbs
Small: 7 – 17 Lbs
Medium: 17 – 30 Lbs (most babies only need up to this size)
Large: 30 Lbs – Potty
Once you have bought this, all you will need on a continued basis are the liners, which at €5.50 for a role of 100 are fairly reasonable!
The RSP of this pack is €307 but for a limited time we are offering it at €245 plus €10 P & P. If you wish, we can send you extra roles of liners in the same box, as this will still cost you the same postage and will keep you going for longer.
If you want to feel the softness of a Little Comfort Nappy before you commit to the Full Pack, you can try a Trial Pack which contains 1 Bamboo Nappy, 1 Waterproof Nappy Cover and a few liners. The Trial Pack costs €21 plus €6 P & P. Please specify what size Cover you need.
