We are delighted to be stocking Real Nappies made by Little Comfort, an Irish Company based in Co Donegal. Their nappies are made from a Bamboo mix, a highly absorbent very eco friendly material which wears very well. Even better, it’ a one size nappy, which means you can use the same nappy from birth to potty along with a waterproof cover that comes in 4 sizes (see my recommended pack below). This works out cheaper and more eco friendly all round, as you only have to buy one set of the nappies rather than 3 or 4 sets.

Hannah says - “I have been using these nappies for over a year now, and it is so much easier than I had expected. I spent ages researching trying to find the best nappy out there, but really I was scared that even though I felt I HAD to try them out, I wouldn’t be able to make the whole soaking/washing/drying thing work. Well, I don’t know why I was so worried, it’s absolutely fine! We use them about 80% of the time – all day but not at night (I have found an eco-disposable is the best thing at night – I like Nature Baby Care nappies).“

We take orders by email and will call for credit card details. The best idea is to order to fill your freezer (our breads and spelt scones freeze very well) with some treats on the side (our spelt chocolate chip cookies keep for minimum 2 weeks). We bag up everything for maximum freshness and of course everything is freshly baked on the day we send it so even if you don’t freeze it you will get 3-4 days out of a loaf (the Soda breads keep fresh the longest).
